The third phase competitions seven wonders of the world or the New7Wonders of Nature has
already begun. Komodo Island, the only representative of Indonesia in the event they are in group 14 of a total of 28 finalists.
Komodo Island had passed the two previous phases successfully. The first phase, lasting from December 2007 to July 7, 2009, carried out to select 77 nominees. Then, from 77 candidates nominated for the selected 28 finalists were announced on July 21, 2010.
Of the 28 official candidates finalists, will be selected the seven wonders of the world gets the most votes from various countries around the world. Announcement of the seven wonders of the world will be held on 11 November 2011.
Komodo Island, Indonesia is a mainstay in the event the New7Wonders of Nature to have the benefits in versus other locations, especially if not dragons, endangered species are believed to be the 'last dinosaur' on earth.
